It was intended that the Beta Coupe would be ready for the start of the season to use as a spare car, and be able to enter other events such as the Classic Car Club race at Zolder, which this year will take place on the 4th May. However, the hoped for budget for this has not been available, the Y10 has sucked up all available funds so far.
The Beta is currently in need of some completion work - the basic shell has been prepared, interior mostly stripped, roll cage fitted, some lightweight panels have also been fitted. However, she is awaiting the rebuild of an 1800cc engine - such an engine has been sourced but funds do not currently allow for this work to be done.
